Sentinel CS-1 Hinge Installation
Two-Piece Kit for Easy Installation
The Sentinel CS-1Hinge is supplied as a two-piece kit and is mounted between the Control Switch escutcheon plate and the panel. To install, back off the existing mounting screws far enough to slip the two mounting-base pieces under the plate and then tighten the screws once again. Longer screws are supplied if needed. The base piece provides the means to lock the Safety Cover in the closed position.

Clear ABS Construction
The CS-1Hinge is made from high-impact clear ABS. This allows for 180-degree viewing of the control switch position and status LEDs.
Upward Hinge Mechanism
The CS-1Hinge has been designed to hinge upward allowing access to the control switch. This feature allows room for indicator lights or nameplates above the switch and safety cover.
Compatibility with Major Switches

The CS-1Hinge was designed to be compatible with Electroswitch Series-24 Instrument and Control Switches, General Electric SB-1 Control and Transfer Switches, GE/ITI Series-95 Control Switches and Shallco Series 26 Instrument Control Switches & Lock-Out Relays.

- Bottom Locking Plate
- Extra mounting screws (longer than originals) for installation
Note: Allow a minimum of 3/4 ” above the control switch escutcheon plate to allow sufficient space for the CS-1Hinge. The CS-1Hinge is intended for indoor use only.
